Fabrication

The structure of our Fabrication Department allows our craftspeople to fine-tune their expertise down to the tightest niche, which ultimately allows us to deliver ever-improving quality to our clients.

FABRICATION OVERVIEW

The Hanover Iron Works fabrication process is driven by the need to achieve perfection, regardless of how the rail, stairways, or miscellaneous components are incorporated into the project. Our Fabrication Shop is not volume-driven, but rather a hands-on operation that produces custom metal components to fit the specific needs of our customers. We have the latest CNC Technology to expedite a quicker product for our customers.

Our products range from steel rails in rugged warehouse facilities to staircases in polished educational facilities. Some are prominently displayed on the interior or exterior of the building and must be aesthetically pleasing, while others play a structural role and are hidden from view. As a result, we set the quality bar at its highest level regardless of the application.

FABRICATION EXCELLENCE

The journey to fabrication excellence starts in the field. Our Field verification team visits the customer’s site to take measurements using a Totalstation for the more difficult items to ensure that the final shop drawings are aligned with specific site conditions. Required tweaks are made by the Detailing Department before the component makes its way to the fabrication shop.

The structure of our Fabrication Department allows our craftspeople to fine-tune their expertise down to the tightest niche, which ultimately allows us to deliver ever-improving quality to our clients. These sub departments include Stairs, Rails, Structural Steel, and Miscellaneous Items.

The Hanover fabrication process is about personalization, customization, and attention to detail. We work with a sense of urgency to meet our customers’ deadlines, but will never forsake quality for quantity.
